Can you provide lower detection limits than those listed?

MSE provides generalized detection limits based on typical instrument operational parameters. However, if you need a specific detection limit, we may be able to optimize instrument setting and provide lower detection limits. For more information, contact us at 406-494-7334 or labinfo@mse-ta.com.

Do you provide asbestos testing?

Not at this time.

Do you provide mold sampling and analysis?

Not at this time.

Do you provide sample pickups...what service areas do you cover?

As a full-service environmental testing laboratory, we can provide you with sample transportation or sampling services. Contact us for a quote at 406-494-7334 or labinfo@mse-ta.com.

What type of LIMS do you have?

MSE Lab currently manages all sample data and tracking with the MSC LIMS, a custom-written laboratory information management system, used to track samples from receipt to data submittal.

What are your standard turnaround times?

MSE's standard turnaround time (TAT) is 10-15 business days or 14 to 21 calendar days. If you need special turnaround times contact us at 406-494-7334 or labinfo@mse-ta.com.

What kind of environmental projects have you worked on?

The MSE Lab is experienced in a variety of sample analyses including the following:

• Inorganic metals analyses, using both standard and Contract Laboratory Program (CLP) EPA methodologies
• Inorganic non-metallic analyses
• Biological drinking water analysis
• Analyses for physical properties
• Organic analyses
• Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) compliance parameters
• MSE performs testing for industrial clients, such as weekly, monthly, and quarterly compliance monitoring. Programs supported include SDWA, NPDES, CWA, etc.

MSE also performs testing for various landfills in support of the various environmental monitoring programs designed specifically for each individual landfill or waste monitoring facility.

Additionally, MSE performs testing for various support programs including remediation, compliance monitoring, engineering support for various environmental projects.

What is the experience of your laboratory management?

MSE Laboratory has a strong chemistry-oriented laboratory management team. The team is headed by Gary Wyss. Gary holds a B.S in Geology from the University of Wisconsin and a M.S. in Geochemistry from Montana Tech of the University of Montana, and has been employed at the MSE Lab for 16 years. His past positions have included ICP Analyst, Metals Team Leader, Organic Team Leader, and Laboratory Quality Assurance Officer. Gary is the MSE Lab’s primary point of contact, providing marketing materials, quotations and pricing for analytical services to clients. He is readily available to help clients interpret any results provided by MSE Lab.
